PART1:
Somehow Ada and I got into a "discussion" about dinosaurs.
To paraphrase:
Ada: Where are the Dinosaurs?
Me: [Knowing that she is familiar with the concept of death] There aren't around anymore.
Ada: They 'Died-ed?' (how cute is that?) … how'd they died-d?
Me: There are many theories on this but it was most likely that their food source somehow became limited due to climate change - which had a domino affect, causing extinction to many species. There are also theories about the drifting apart of the continents leading to this.
Ada: Where can we see the dinosaurs?
Me: There are still animals that are kinda like dinosaurs around today … like an Alligator (or maybe an armadillo).
Ada: At the zoo?
Me: YES!!!
2 days later:
[my call phone rings (vibrates) at work]
Julie: Hi … Ada wants to know where the Dinosaurs are …
Me: OH, you are at the ZOO!
Julie: Yeah
Me: Laughing like I'm high (on life)
Julie: Ada said that you told here there are Dinosaurs at the zoo.
Me: Aaawh, how cute … You need to go to the alligators because that's what i told Ada.
Then I said some other stuff where I was trying to be funny but I can't remember what it was.
